I Get It

I’m Andrea. I’m 53, and I’ve experienced ALL of these things. I’ve been divorced twice – and married three times. I have two children by two different dads, and two step children. I went into surgical menopause in 2016 after a full hysterectomy. I burned out and broke down in 2019 after trying to keep going at a pace that didn’t work for me, in a job I didn’t love any more.

Midlife for women can be TOUGH, but it doesn’t have to define us.

My motto is: “I’m halfway through, not halfway done.” I have a lot more life to live and now I have dedicated my midlife to helping women get through theirs.

I’ve been where you are and I know what it cost me by doing nothing.

This is me in 2019, at the biggest television awards ceremony in the UK, where the show I hosted for 13 years was nominated for its 12th award. It should have been a career highlight. Instead, I had a breakdown, after years of holding

in, keeping going, and becoming overwhelmed and lost.

I got great coaching and mentors, who helped me figure out how to make the changes I needed to start feeling great again. I stopped doing what I thought I should… and starting doing what works for me.

Since then I’ve become an internationally-accredited life coach. I’ve interviewed countless experts and shared their insights. I’ve written best-selling books on how to change your thinking and behaviour in a way that works for you.

I keep learning and paying it forward and I’ve helped tens of thousands of women to feel great about themselves. Now it’s your turn.
