Andrea McLean Relight your fire!

I spoke recently at a summit for people who wanted to improve their lives, to learn how to be their best possible self.

I talked all about ‘Relighting Your Fire’ – finding a way to take the worst thing that has happened to you and turning it into the best thing that has ever happened to you.

We have all had our worst of times -some of us have had many, many worst of times – but it doesn’t define us, and it doesn’t have to stop us. If we channel it right, the very thing that knocked us down can be the thing that makes us dust ourselves down and start all over again!

This is a speech that is from the heart – I talk about my life and my career and the defining moments that have helped me become the person I am today.

You can either settle down and watch it, or use it as a podcast and just listen. But either way, I hope you enjoy it.

  1. Well that was amazing! So inspirational! I think lots of people will be able to connect with your story and find your advice invaluable. I can’t believe I’ve come across this today. After a few dark years, I finally feel like I’m ready to reignite my fire. Right now, I feel a little lost but you’ve given me hope! Thank you Andrea, you’re totally amazing! X

  2. Hi Andrea,

I have thoroughly enjoyed your inspirational talk. I have had some incredibly dark days and I have had to dig very deep to re light my fire on a number of occasions. I have been divorced, bankrupt had malignant melanoma twice, but now I run 3 successful businesses, re married my ex husband and have the most wonderful son. Attitude is key! As you have shown, we have to be soldiers, we have to fight and sometimes the biggest battle is with ourselves. We have to be strong willed, positive and determined. We need direction, a dream. The first step is making the first step … a goal. Thank you for sharing your journey with us and sprinkling your positivity! Sarah x

  3. I’ve just watched your video and what an inspirational woman you are.
My life has taken many turns almost as many as yours. Likewise my lows have been turned into highs with twists and turns totally unexpected.
I also try doing meditation, and when I do it I feel so much more relaxed and an almost a’free’ feeling. Sadly I don’t do it regularly enough, but I will keep working on that. I am a Reiki Master and have found this an amazing thing. I studied for many years and have had some profound results. I would be happy to tell you more about that if you are interested.
Keep being the person you are, and thank you for this blog
