with Grace Lordan

Dr Grace Lordan is not your typical Professor. For starters, she never calls herself Doctor, because she’s too worried that she may be called upon to resuscitate someone when she’s actually a Doctor of Economics! Grace’s job is understand why people choose the jobs they do, and why some people have more success than others in getting to where they want to go. As she says, “Having big dreams is easy, making them happen is hard.” Grace is an Associate Professor in Behavioural Science at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is an expert on the effects of bias, discrimination and technology changes and is an expert advisor to the UK government sitting on their skills and productivity board. She is also very funny, grounded and exactly the person to speak to when it comes to understanding our own unique behaviour and how we can all think big, take small steps and build the future we want.
