with Daisy Dowling

Daisy Dowling is the author of Workparent: Thrive in Your Career While Raising Happy Children, the first inclusive A-to-Z guidebook for every working mother and father.  As an executive coach, Daisy has helped mums and dads around the world bridge their parenting and professional responsibilities and achieve success and satisfaction in the process.  She has also written on career and work/life issues for the New York Times, Harvard Business Review and Elle magazine, and her work has been spotlighted in the Financial Times, the Sunday Times and the Wall Street Journal.

A proud working mum herself, Daisy lives in New York City with her (working-dad) husband and two young children. In our conversation today, Daisy helps us unfold where we got our own ideas about parenting from, and asks us whether they serve us? We discuss how to use the circle of support that surrounds us, in ways we might never have considered. And finally, she shows us how to stand back and ask ourselves if we are “really” doing a bad job in the first place. Every parent will get something out of this conversation, it doesn’t matter how old your olds are, from tots to teens, we’re all still parenting!

Download the workbook for this class under the ‘workbook’ tab for this course and use it in conjunction with the video workshop. The points and takeaways listed are to remind you of key messages from each section and give you the opportunity to make your own notes and observations as you work through each part.
